The SALESIANER Group has become part of the newly established Vienna Climate Alliance. Through this initiative, the City of Vienna and leading domestic companies are strengthening their collaboration to sustainably combine climate protection with economic development. The SALESIANER Group is participating in the European recycling project of the ETSA. Together with other textile service companies, end-of-life rental textiles are collected and processed into insulation mats in Poland. SALESIANER is working together with around 60 companies and organizations in the Circular Economy Delegation to promote circular economy initiatives in Austria. At “Circular Economy in Dialogue” at the Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce in St. Pölten, SALESIANER MIETTEX GmbH demonstrated with its “Recycling Pioneers” project how workwear is industrially recycled in collaboration with ÖBB, Austrian Airlines & partners—keeping textile resources in circulation.
