Sustainable Summer Ponchos Made from Recycled Organic Bed Linen – A Heartfelt Project with Rogner Bad Blumau
As a long-standing partner of Rogner Bad Blumau, we are especially proud to have brought an extraordinary sustainability project to life: Together, we developed a lightweight, summery bathrobe – or rather, a poncho – made from retired organic cotton bed linen.
Many guests at Rogner Bad Blumau had expressed the wish for a lighter alternative to the classic terry bathrobe, especially during warmer weather. This request was met with creativity, innovation, and a strong commitment to sustainability. In close collaboration with the team at Rogner Bad Blumau and SALESIANER, a designer created a modern, unisex model that offers comfort, lightness, and maximum freedom of movement.
We’re particularly proud of the material: The summer ponchos are made from organic cotton bed linen that can no longer be used due to stains or wear. Instead of being discarded, the fabric is given a new, meaningful purpose – transformed into a product that is not only functional but also a visible symbol of responsible resource use.
We would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Rogner Bad Blumau for their trust, the excellent collaboration, and the shared vision of a more sustainable textile future. Projects like this show what is possible when creativity meets shared values.
