SALESIANER expands its presence in Romania through the acquisition of ECOMEDCLEAN

The SALESIANER Group has successfully completed the acquisition of ECOMEDCLEAN in Timișoara. With this healthcare-specialised provider, SALESIANER is strengthening its market position in Romania and further expanding its presence in the south-west of the country.

Through the integration of ECOMEDCLEAN, SALESIANER is expanding its customer portfolio, increasing operational capacity and strengthening its expertise in the healthcare sector. At the same time, services for customers in the hotel, catering and industrial sectors are to be further expanded.

As part of the integration, operational processes at the Timișoara site will be harmonised and existing hygiene and quality standards further developed. Furthermore, SALESIANER plans to introduce a specialised service for the supply, reprocessing and sterilisation of reusable surgical textiles.

The acquisition will further expand the network for textile rental and laundry services in Central, Southern and Eastern Europe. The strengthened regional presence is intended to help provide customers in western Romania with individual solutions even more efficiently.
