SALESIANER celebrates ground-breaking ceremony for high-tech project in Oradea
The official ground-breaking ceremony in Oradea marks the start of the SALESIANER Group’s implementation of a major infrastructure project. A state-of-the-art production facility for cleanroom and surgical laundry is being built at the Romanian factory, enabling the Group to expand its expertise in a targeted manner.
The new facility will include specialised cleanroom production for highly sensitive sectors such as the pharmaceutical, automotive and microelectronics industries. In addition, an area is being created for the reprocessing of sterile reusable textiles used in hospital operating theatres.
At the ground-breaking ceremony, Dr Victor Ioane, CEO of the SALESIANER Group, Andreea Constantin and Florin Ianchis, Managing Directors of SALESIANER Romania, and Markus Schad, Director Micro & Clean of the SALESIANER Group, emphasised the strategic importance of the project for the company’s further international development.
The new infrastructure expands production capacity whilst strengthening the factory’s technological expertise. As a result, Oradea is set to gain further significance within the SALESIANER Group’s international production and service network. The investment forms part of the company’s long-term growth strategy and supports the further development of innovative textile services for sectors with the highest hygiene requirements.
