At “Circular Economy in Dialogue” at the Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce in St. Pölten, the innovation and competitive potential of circular business models became clear.  

The focus was on concrete implementation strategies, the systematic integration of opportunities and risks into product planning, and the impact on circular-ready production. SALESIANER MIETTEX GmbH was represented as a best-practice company. Mathias Nell, Head of Sustainability & Grants, presented the innovative pilot project implemented jointly with partner companies ÖBB, Austrian Airlines, Österreichische Post, City Airport Train und Wiener Linien under the name “Uniform-Recycling Pioniere”: the large-scale recycling of service and workwear. The objective is to keep textile resources in the loop, significantly increase recycling rates, and further develop sustainable value chains. For SALESIANER, one thing is clear: environmental and climate protection only work through strong collaboration.
