SALESIANER underlines its pioneer role in sustainability with its own department.
The Sustainability department, established on 1.1.2023, is going to push the European Green Deal Transformation and will be headed by Mathias Nell, an expert in experienced compliance, sustainability and innovation.
Sustainability has always been a top priority at SALESIANER:
Whether as a long-standing project partner of klimaaktiv, as the first Austrian company with the eco-label in the field of rental textiles, or as the winner of a prestigious state award for textile recycling. For SALESIANER, sustainability is not a fad, but the foundation on which the economic success of Austria's leading rental textile company is based.
With the European Green Deal, however, sustainability is taking on a new quality that does not stop at the gates of the family-owned company from Vienna. Thus, SALESIANER - like many other Austrian companies - is required to present its sustainability goals, measures and successes annually as part of its annual report from 2025.
No easy feat, as Mathias Nell notes. "Everything comes together here: Complex legal requirements, smart data management, multi-layered technology, disruptive innovation, profound cultural change, as well as genuine employee commitment and convincing employer branding. But that's also what makes it so exciting."
With Mathias Nell, SALESIANER was able to gain a proven professional in this field. The goal: "Sustainability that resonates. And to continue to make the group of companies a pioneer in environmental protection, social commitment and good corporate governance across national borders," says Mathias Nell.
