SKV Prag Benefit day: SALESIANER actively supports!
The 20th anniversary of the SKV Prag Benefit Day once again demonstrated how sports can bring people together, bring joy, and simultaneously help those who need it most. SALESIANER Czech Republic was a proud partner of this event, contributing not only financial support but also actively participating in the floorball tournament and various side activities.
Not just support, but life-enriching experiences
The funds raised, totaling 390,000 CZK, will enable the Wheelchair Club to purchase new sports equipment, helping them continue their tireless efforts and achieve further success in sports. This amount will also provide the resources needed to participate in future tournaments. For our team at SALESIANER, participating in this event was more than just supporting a good cause. The floorball tournament allowed us to compete against other companies and take on the unique challenge of playing against wheelchair athletes, which resulted in a narrow 0:1 defeat. The day also included side activities where our employees tried handbiking, diving, and orienteering.
A meaningful event full of fun and inspiration
The event was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen relationships among colleagues in an informal setting. The full-day sports program was physically demanding but immensely rewarding. Many of our employees tried wheelchair floorball for the first time, leaving with a profound respect for those who face this challenge every day. These new experiences will remain in our memories for a long time. Our families and colleagues actively cheered us on, contributing to the friendly and encouraging atmosphere that was palpable throughout the day.
The SKV Prag Benefit Day is about more than numbers; it’s about people. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this extraordinary event that enriched us all. We are proud to support and inspired by the indomitable spirit of the SKV Prag athletes. We are already looking forward to next year, when we can once again participate—helping, playing sports, and sharing unique moments together!
