Grüezi - Switzerland we are coming!

With our entry intro the Swiss market, we are continuing our expansion within Europe. The SALESIANER Group now has a presence in the entire D-A-CH region.

The aim here is to build on the success achieved in Vorarlberg last year, taking the positive experiences and market knowledge acquired here to enter the Swiss market successfully. SALESIANER’s portfolio will start out by comprising workwear, cleaning cloths and mats. We were also able to partner up with a laundry in the canton of Zurich so that we can understand our customer requirements even better. The focus to begin with is on local tradesmen, manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.

Values that go hand-in-hand with those of SALESIANER and thus give us a positive outlook on the future,” says SALESIANER CEO Dr Victor Ioane about the move into the neighbouring country.

Markus Fleischanderl, as operating manager of the Swiss subsidiary, sees the potential and is looking forward to the challenge: “Switzerland is a very exciting prospect for us. The market itself is similar in many ways to the Austrian one, especially in Vorarlberg. Yet it first had to be decided, on the basis of a market analysis, which products and services are needed. The country is currently home to industrial laundries that mainly supply hotels and restaurants in Switzerland. It quickly became clear to us which path to take: there are only a few laundries capable of providing high-quality textile services in the workwear, cleaning cloths and mats segments. And this is where we see our opportunity, because the demand for sustainable products with the accompanying services is very high and Swiss companies are firm believers in regional solutions.”

Our aim is to position SALESIANER as a quality brand on the Swiss market and to become a premium partner for trade and industry in the medium term.
