More and more Austrian businesses are putting their faith in the providers of textile rental services. An Austrian Success Story

The family run business started from a small laundry established in Salesianergasse in Vienna in 1916. Hans Krautschneider, the son of the founder, recognised the changes that were taking place in the market around 1960 and introduced a structural change by seizing the american idea the rental of textiles and workwear.

A clear brand concept

"The target groups are still the same today as they were almost 50 years ago. However, the way that they are catered for has been modernised in a crucially important way using a specific brand concept," reports managing director Josef Dutter. Thus "Salesianer Miettex GAST" provides a comprehensive service to the hotel and tourism industries, from table linen to bed linen. "Salesianer Miettex MED" serves the health sector, in particular by supplying it with perfectly reprocessed sterile OP gowns and drapes.
"Salesianer Miettex JOB" does not only supply the employees of domestic industrial and commercial enterprises on time and exactly with what they need, but it also, in so doing, pays heed to the corporate design of the enterprise in each case. Clean-room clothing for high-tech businesses "Salesianer Miettex MICRO" – Clean-room clothing for high-tech businesses, "Salesianer Miettex FRESH" – washroom hygiene products - and "Salesianer Miettex MATTEN" – dust control- and logo mats – complete the range.

Prepared for the future

At Salesianer Miettex we are, in any event, looking to the future with extreme optimism. Josef Dutter is convinced that "with our existing levels of quality and service we are very well prepared for the forthcoming developments in the market" and he points to the fact that they were recently voted the most popular service company in Austria by a tourist trade journal. "At the moment we are pleased to be gaining one new customer almost every day", says the textile rental specialist.
